British informal n. - A promenade concert Every year July to September music lovers are brought together for yet another Proms season. For as little as £5 anyone can have a go at 'Promming' and enter the magic world of the Royal Albert Hall for a spectacular night of music. And on a good night, the concert may even be more fun than the long hours preceeding it. Promming, in fact, is as much about the music as it is about that quintessentially British love of queuing.
